GIF AND JPG CODES

USE FULL CODE FOR IMAGES!
Use the full code when placing graphics or pictures on a page.
The code has three parts, the image, the border and the text.
<IMG SRC="images/back.gif" BORDER="0" ALT="BACK">
The IMG SRC=" is a gif or jpg, the BORDER="" can be any number.
Zero is no border and 1 up adds a border. The ALT="" should be
what the images is in text, in case the image fails to load or
the visitor is blind and is using a browser that reads the text.

SIZING IMAGES!
Gif's and Jpg's will have an actual size, but sometimes their size is to large or
to small. You can adjust their size by adding the HEIGHT="" and WIDTH="" to
the image code in pixels. When resizing a picture or a graphic be careful not
to distort the image. But with certian graphics this could come in handy. Here
are a group of simple dots, about the size of a period. I have enlarged them a
little bit so you can see them better. Use 'right click' to copy and download.

dotblue          dotgreen          dotgray          dotbrown          dotred

This one is a blank, I have added a border so you can see it.
dotblank
Use it without a border to create space between images and text!
Just make the height="1" and the width whatever you need for the space.

What can you do with a dot? You may ask!
Well by setting the height and width you can do just about anything.
<IMG SRC="imag/dotred.gif" HEIGHT="5" WIDTH="650" BORDER="0">

All done with a simple dot. I think you get the idea, have fun with it.

SIZING YOUR PAGE!
You can insert a bar with set pixels so you don't over build your page.
Below is a bar, set at 640 pixels width. You can place a bar on your
page. Set it at the width you want and build your page within that setting.
You can remove the bar when the page is completed. Hope this helps!

RELATIVE LINKS!
Remember the rule for links, if the link is to a location other than your site,
you need the full URL address. When linking to something located in your
files, such as pics, graphics, etc., use a relative link. Here is an example
of an absolute link: <A HREF="http://www.vpcr.50megs.com"> and here,
an example of a relative link for graphics: <IMG SRC="images/exit.gif">

Just COPY AND PASTE any code your want from these pages.
Change the colors, sizes, graphics or any other option in the codes!
