As stated, I wasn't very happy with the 16" bright chrome machined spinner wheels that came with Tazz. The old 16 inch bright machined with spinner wheelThe new 17inch split spoke GT upgrade wheels Thanks to eBay and a Ford Dealer in Ca, I scored some GT 17" take off's, complete with Pirelli NeroZero tires. These are the split spoke typ similar to what I had on Pony and the type that was on the S197 Concept when it was unveiled. You can see the before (left) and after (right) pictures. Although the old 16's have that classic Mustang look, I prefer the clean look of the 17's. I also prefer to have a 'pony' centercap rather than a 'Ford' one. Luckily the new wheels cames standard with Pony centercaps. The P235/55/ZR17 Pirelli's also have a wider footprint than the P215/65/R16 BF Goodrich ones that came as original equipment.
