Tampa Bay Ship Model Society
The club brings together model ship builders, both newcomers and veteran builders, for the mutual benefit of expanding their knowledge of ships, research, techniques, and further develop their abilities in all areas relevant to ship model building. Meetings The monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for December). The meetings start at 7pm. The meetings generally consist of show-and-tell followed by a talk on a ship modeling topic - woods, glues, rigging, building techniques, planking, tools, books, etc. There is open discussion, questions are answered, and problems are solved. Meeting Place The meetings are held in St. Petersburg, FL at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 411 Fifth St North. Take I-275 and exit at I-375. Take I-375 east and take the second exit off I-375 which becomes 4th Avenue. Go to the traffic light and turn left. This is Fifth St North. Turn left onto Fifth St North and go about 100 feet and turn right into the Church's parking lot. (Click here to see a map.) Dues Our annual dues of $24 are due at the May meeting. Our custom is that interested people can attend a few meetings before they actually decide to join. For more information about our meetings, contact...
