Fort DeSoto

ALWAYS USE SAFETY
EQUIPMENT WHEN INLINE SKATING |
|
Fort DeSoto Park is an island just
northwest of the Sunshine Skyway. It has about 4.2 miles of paved
trail, a couple of beaches and several picnic areas. Go through
the fort's parking lot toward the beach and you'll find about
a half mile of sidewalk that curves around the southwest corner
of the island. If you go, and you should, don't just skate, check
out the fort, have a picnic, go to the beach and bask in the
sunshine.
