Downtown St Pete

ALWAYS USE SAFETY EQUIPMENT WHEN INLINE SKATING

There are several small parks in the downtown area that lend themselves to skating. Skating around just one park can get old quickly so why not skate them all? One possible skating route is indicated below. It stretches from Flora Wylie Park to the Salvador Dali Museum (the south end of Poynter Park).

If you venture west to Mirror Lake Park be careful there are several busy intersections to pass through. The area is kind of seedy particularly around the bus station by and including Willows Park.

Beginners should consider avoiding Mirror Lake Park and staying north of Pioneer Park as there are more streets to cross and some rougher surfaces.
