Bicentennial Park - 148 Acres with Jr. Olympic pool, lighted ball fields. Off Hwy. 19, just north of the Crystal River Airport.

Crystal River State Archeological Site - 3400 Museum Point, Crystal River. Turn west off Hwy. 19 at the Days Inn Hotel. 352.795.3817

Crystal River Wildlife Refuge. , 1502 S E Kings Bay Drive, Crystal River, Tampa Bay.
Open daily 09.00-16.00
A United Sates Fish and Wildlife Service Sanctuary for Manatees. Wide stretches of the river have been designated for people to watch and swim with the Sea Cows. The main spring feeds crystal clear water into the river at 72 degrees all year round, and during the winter when the Manatees scatter the main spring is still a great place to swim

Fort Cooper State Park - From Hwy 41, turn east on Eden Drive, south of Inverness. Right at the first stop sign (Old Floral City Road), 2 miles on right. 352.726.0315

Fort Island Trail Park - 14 acres located at the Parks and Recreation Administration Facility. In Crystal River, turn west off Hwy 19 onto Hwy 44 West. (Turn at Plantation Inn Resort traffic light).

Hernando Beach - Off Hwy 41, this 3-acre park and beach has picnicking, fishing, and a playground.

St. Martin's Marsh Aquatic Preserve - 5990 N. Tallahassee Road, Crystal River. Turn west off Hwy 19 at Days Inn Hotel, one block turn right, follow signs. 352.563.0450

Yulee Sugarmill State Historic Site - CR 490, Homosassa, Florida, west of Hwy. 19.

Citrus County Parks and Recreation Department - 12073 W. Fort Island Trail, Crystal River, 352.795.2202 Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm except holidays.
