The engine work is done so now I'm starting to do set up work on the car for Autocrossing.  There's actually not much to do to get the car somewhat competitive in CSP on the local level.  The single biggest change is the comp front end (springs and sway bar) and getting some R compound tires mounted.

Beyond that the needed changes will be more involved.  I'm putting together a Limited Slip diff for the car.  Flairing the rear fenders will be necessary in the not too distant future in order to fit at least 225/50 Hoosier's or Kuhmo's under the body work.  At present, I can get 195's and maybe 205's under the rear fenders but that's about it.  Other mods will be replacing the mechanical fan with an electric one.  An electric fuel pump.  A catch can on the differential.  The rules allow one torque supression device on the engine.  And there are a few things that can be done to the rear axle.  I'll detail this as I get each mod completed.

There is an overview of my steering box overhaul on the Steering Work page.

Just added is a detailed account of the Costs associated with rebuilding the U20 engine.  I hope to add a table of restoration costs as well, but those will be from quite a few years ago.
