There are quite a few pictures from the restoration so I have posted
thumbnails on this page along with accompanying text. Click on a thumbnail

The above photos show the car coming apart. First the interior came out along with the windshield and front body work. The battery box area had some minor rust but wasn't too bad. The left rear quarter shows damage from the time the wheel fell off at about 55mph! Hey Ridley, make a note - Roadster wheel studs ain't metric. The right quarter shows the worst area of rust on the car. You can see some bubbling paint behind the door as well. The interior is completely out in the last of the above shots.
A few more shots prior to any body work being done. The empty engine bay. Several shots of the body stripped of it's paint. The left front fender had sustained some light damage just forward of the A pillar. You can also see the big dent in the left rear - more of the consequences of metric lugs. A bit of the right side rust is evident in the right side photos.
Here we have the painted frame waiting for the body which is shown with primer after many months of work. The last of the above photos shows the repair to the damaged left rear quarter.
And finally some of the mechanical work that was ongoing while the body lived in a different place. The engine shots are prior to disassembly for it's rebuild. Oil Leak The Roadster Origins The Early Years Current Work Gallery Tech Info
