It's 1 AM.  The camera refuses to accurately record what the eye sees. 

Despite what you may think, it is much brighter than this photo leads you to believe.  It has only within the past 45 minutes gotten too dark to read outdoors.  Some of you afflicted with 'blond fundus' (you know who you are) will say that it never got too dark to read outdoors.
