It was a
place to eat and listen to music on the Jukebox. This and the
wooden buildings were built for the U.S.Navy during WWII and later
was used by CZ people until the hotel went up and Casino was torn down. The water looked and tasted like iron due to the
pipes the water went through. Took awhile to get used to. The
lights were dim as they used the generator from the village which
went out when the generator was turned off at night. The
two concrete slabs (look black in picture) were where they practiced
landing their Landing Barges that were stationed there.
