A Special Measure of Gratitude

To all those close to my heart . . . for helping me with this web site!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank

My husband Jim: He spent many hours in the family room alone (not to mention the golf course!) while I was pecking away at the keyboard.

My family: Dr. Jim, Jon, Cindy, Jay, and Sherry: They believed! (It is possible to teach an "old dog" new tricks!) And, of course, my grandsons J.J., Deuce, Joey, Michael, Jack, and Jayson who gave me the name, privilege, and joy of being "Memaw!"

Mrs. Mary Stiegler: She was the Technology Curriculum Coordinator when I started this website. She has been a source of knowledge, strength, encouragement, support, and a dear friend. We've bounced around so many ideas that they must still be floating around in our classrooms somewhere! She always took the time to listen and laugh with me.

The Entire Lower Division Faculty: If I am fortunate enough to do anything well, it is because THEIR greatness rubbed off on me. A special thanks to my "partners in crime" over the years: Susan Geraghty, Marcia Levine, Lorraine Merluzzi, and Ellen Palmer. They are all special, unique, and creative individuals who made teaching FUN, exciting, and rewarding!

Ross Frazier: I am a teacher, and he is a former student. When it comes to computers, he is the teacher, and I am the student. He has patiently answered all my questions (no matter how stupid!), led me in new directions, and was unwaveringly loyal in his belief that I could finish this web site. (with HIS help, of course) He was always there to advise and encourage me. I love him a BUNCH.

The Children of Berkeley Preparatory School: Last of all, but not least, these children were the true source of inspiration. For them, we all try a little harder to be the best that we can be and constantly seek new ways to nurture, teach, and challenge them.

Happy Trails to you, and thanks for visiting!                             Back to Index
