     "Charles Stokes, who married Amy Wills (first wife), was the son of Isaac Stokes and Lydia Collins, his first wife, the daughter of Job Collins and Elizabeth (Ballinger) Mason, the widow of John Mason, and daughter of Joshua Ballinger and Naomi Dunn.  Joshua was the son of Thomas Ballinger, the progenitor of the Ballinger family.  Job Collins was the son of Francis Collins and Ann (Ashard) Haines, the widow of Nehemiah Haines, and the daughter of _______ __ Ashard.  Francis Collins was the son of John Collins and his first or second wife.  John was the son of Francis Collins, the progenitor of the family, and Mary (Budd) Goslin, his second wife, the daughter of Thomas Budd, and widow of Dr. John Goslin, of Burlington, New Jersey.  Francis was the son of Edward Collins and Mary, of Oxfordshire, England, and came from London, and he was a bricklayer."

     "Isaac Stokes, who married Lydia Collins, was the son of John Stokes and Beulah Haines, the daughter of John Haines and Mary Shreeve.  John was the son of Nathan Haines and Sarah Austin, the daughter of Francis Austin, the progenitor of the Austin family, and Mary Borton, the daughter of John Borton and Ann, the progenitors of the Borton family.  Nathan Haines was the son of William Haines and Sarah Paine, the daughter of John Paine, the progenitor o f the Paine family.  William Haines was the son of Richard Haines and Margaret, the progenitors of the Haines family.  John Stokes was the son of Joshua Stokes and Amy Hinchman, who ancestry, see from that family, on page 26."
