Do I have something to say? Most of us, at one time or another, usually feel the need to express
ourselves. Are the words I write worth reading? I imagine only time will tell. I spend quite a bit
of time reading books by Christian authors praising our Savior Jesus Christ. These books compel
me to write in praise to our Redeemer as well. Right now I am compelled to write about the moral
decay of the world. I am compelled to write about the lies that our children are taught in the
public school system. I am compelled to write about the death of innocent lives at the hands of
the men and women that take an oath to hold human life in the highest regard. Forty eight million
deaths since the Roe vs. Wade decision was cast three decades ago. I am compelled to write
about public figures that are elected to represent the majority but end up deceiving the very
people that need their honesty the most. I am compelled to write about our religious leaders that
deceive their flock with views that are clearly not Biblical. I am compelled to write about the
public media that would have us digest their liberal ideology wrapped in the disguise of freedom
of choice as if we were children that will not take our medicine unless it is hidden in a spoon full
of ice cream. I am compelled to write about educators that teach young minds that life was
created from nothing a virtual accident and that humanity was a coincidental chance evolving
from pond scum. I am compelled to write about all these things. However the one compelling
factor that ties all these things together. The reason these things occur in our world today. The
subject that I struggle with every day. The thing I am most compelled to write about today is
Christians. Christians?! Why would I be struggling with Christians? Let me elaborate. We as
Christians have slowly evolved into something the Jews evolved into over two thousand years
ago. Pharisees! We have turned the Body of Christ into a social club. We have spent our time
dividing ourselves into denominations. Instead of fighting the moral decay of the world and of
our own children, we have been fighting amongst ourselves. Instead of promoting moral values,
Christianity has fallen into Satan's tolerance trap.
Christians represent close to 85% of America's population. Humanists only represent a mere 10%
of America's population. These numbers are astounding. Why are we letting schools teach our
children about evolution? Why are we standing by witnessing millions of human lives being
destroyed through abortion? Why is their no prayer in schools? Why has the mere mention of
God's name become an intolerable act in this country? Why are all these things true, when the
people that believe in these things only represent 10% of this country's population? I will tell
you why. Because we have wasted our energies on turning Christianity into a Sunday social
club, we have let the tolerant belief of Liberalism right in without even as much as a comment. It
is time for this to change. We need to take our country back. It is time for Christians to take a
stand for what we know is right. We as Christians need to put aside our denominational
divisions and unite under the one symbol that all of us hold so dear. THE CROSS! We need to
focus on the cross. Yes the cross! The cross where the Creator gave His life to save His
creation. The cross where humanity nailed the King of Kings to its timbers, then gambled for His
few possessions while His humanity slipped slowly away. The cross where Mary weeped, the
Jews scorned, and the Romans jeered. The cross that saved humanity from its worse enemy,
itself. If we as Christians gathered around and held high the symbol of our Salvation, we could
withstand the immorality of a world growing deeper into Satin's power. If we could just put away
our differences and unite together to form the true Body of Christ, we could stop murderous
abortions. Place truth back into the education system and rid our country of politicians who are
more interested in the views of the few instead of the moral fiber of our country. Then guess
what would be next? We can concentrate on what God has called us to do. Spread His Truth to
His children who do not know the Word. Shout out to the world that Jesus is the answer. He is
the Truth and the Way. We are not alone! We will not perish! We have a purpose! We are not
a simple mishap of nature. We were created by design with the loving hands of a Creator! We
can reverse the wrong and prove to the world that Jesus is right! By standing together as one
Body, with the Son as our Head, the Spirit as our Guide, and the Father as our Protector, we can
withstand any evil Satan can dish out! However, first things are always first. We must tear down
the walls of denominational separation. Throw away the legalistic rules and regulations of
religion. Jump down off the fence of liberal tolerance. Disrobe the temptation of the world and
put on the full armor of Christ. And last but not least we must lay down our worldly thoughts,
pick up and shoulder our crosses, and bear them in the name of our Messiah, Jesus Christ.
