Observed the planet at 280 and 400x using a Tele Vue 10mm Radian and a Tele Vue 7mm Nagler on a Nexstar 11 GPS. The seeing was below average - 4 out of 10 - with very high frequency undulations. Transparency was below average - 3 out of 6. The detail was observed over a period of 60 minutes. I was impressed by how large the planet looked compared to a couple of months ago. |
