Observed the planet at 255X using a Tele Vue 11mm Plossl on my new Nexstar 11 GPS. The seeing was bad - two out of six - with high frequency undulations. Transparency was slightly below average. The detail was observed over a period of an hour, with detail being discernible over periods of roughly three to six seconds per minute. Much detail was lost because of glare from the full Moon |
