Montes Apenninus, Archimedes, Caucasus and Alpes can all be seen in this image, framing the crater Archimedes. Taken December 1, 2003 with a NexStar 11 GPS in Alt/Az mode, using a Tele Vue 17mm Nagler,  Radian Digital Camera Adapter, and an Olympus C4000Z digital camera set at wide angle.  One image taken at 2288X1712 resolution, F2.8 at 1/60th second ISO 200. Reprocessed on 1/25/2004 in Images Plus for deconvolution and Photoshop CS for levels and shadows/highlights.  Seeing was 6/10 Pickering. Transparency was 5/6. The Moon was 8 days old at the time. The image was cropped and reduced approximately 60% for web display.
