THE SONG OF THE CLASS OF 1941
"FAREWELL OHS"
Tune: Roses of Picardy
Words by: E. PAUL HARVEY (1923-1993)
Class Vice-President: 1940-1941
Dear OHS we are leaving now.
With our hearts full of memories of you.
And through the years we will often think
of our classmates who were so true.
The visions may fade with the passing years
And our roads may be far, far apart.
But the four years we've spent here will always be
In the innermost part of each heart.
It seemed there were days that would never end,
But our teachers would help pull us through.
We cheered the teams onto victory
OHS they gave their best for you.
Class Night is sad when we're moving on,
We must leave all our books and our fun.
But we'll always remember our high school days.
And we'll know that our task is well done.**
