Design Notes:
The SSC15MCC modular cutter is designed as a specialized, low cost modular cutter. Due to the use of Contra-Grav Lifers for acceleration the SSC15MCC is limited to planetary and orbital use. The low cost makes the class very affordable for those who do not require deep space operations.
Features of the SSC15MCC include 4 G acceleration loaded, 19 G acceleration empty, ability to carry one standard 30 cargo pod, two passenger seats, a fresher and galley for long trips, and comfortable seats.
The streamlined hypersonic hull makes the SSC15MCC ideal for use as a fuel skimmer when it is carrying a specialized cargo pod for fuel skimmers.
The hull structure is strong enough to allow the craft to accelerate at a full 19 Gs as long as no human beings are on board. The G-compensators effectively limit the acceleration to about 7 Gs when there are living beings on board. When a robotic pilot is used this limit would be lifted.
