The Secundus Severus has two decks. The top deck has the bridge, staterooms, lounge, gym, galley and the small hold. The bridge and lounge are toward the bow. The owners stateroom and gym are next, followed by the passengers staterooms. Then the pilot's stateroom and the crew bunk room. The turret access (if installed) is located by the crew's bunk room. The lifeboats are accessed on the port and starboard sides in the middle of the passenger stateroom area. The lower deck includes the four large holds and the air raft hanger. Engineering is in a large open area in the stern of the ship (no top deck) with access to the jump drives, thrusters, contra-grav lifters and power plant. Fuel is stored all about the ship inside the hull.

The  Secundus Severus has five cargo holds. Four are 20 tons, the fifth one varies, depending on the options selected, from 11 tons to 17 tons. The four 20 ton holds are able to be sealed and used to carry extra fuel. Pumps and pipes are included to move the fuel from the holds to the normal fuel tanks and from the fuel tanks to the holds. This gives the  Secundus Severus the ability to use some of her cargo space for extra fuel to increase the jump range in less heavily traveled areas of space.

If the turret is removed or replaced you will save 369 KCr. A bunk is provided for the gunner in the standard design even if the turret is not purchased. A missile magazine containing 6 missiles is normally included in addition to the turret, so if the turret is not installed the cargo capacity in the small hold is increased by 3 tons (to 14std).  Changes to the ships statistics when a turret is not installed are shown in blue.

Another option, if the turret is not purchased, is to use the turret socket as a life raft jettison tube. This allows conversion of the second jettison tube into 3 tons of cargo space with a savings of 10 KCr, again this impacts the small cargo hold (increasing capacity to 17std).
