Design Notes
The SSC15FS is designed to obtain and deliver fuel to the SSC15XT2 and SSC15STB Express Boat Tenders. It has the capacity to carry 26dtons of fuel. It includes fuel scoops to fill it’s fuel tanks in about 48 minutes and can accelerate at 3 G for fuel skimming operations on gas giants. The fuel skimmer is the same size and shape as one of the regular X-boats so it can use the same docking bays.
The pilot normally lives on-board the mother ship. There are no offensive or defensive weapons systems.
