Design Notes:
While the Ferret is a ships boat designed specifically for boarding actions, the 4std cargo hold and 12 passenger capacity allows it to perform as a normal ships boat. The airframe configuration makes it suitable for operating in atmospheres, as well.
It is designed to carry 12 marines into action. The fusion gun provides fire support to the marines. The VRF PD laser is intended to knock down incoming missiles.
It was originally designed for use with the Wulfe class commerce raider.
