Cassettes
I am currently burning these cassettes to CD.
Thanks for your interest in our Jazz Tapes. These recordings, while of the highest quality, are subject to the limitations of location recordings. They are not studio productions but rather very personal live accounts of memorable musical events. Every effort has been made in the editing and duplicating process to insure the best quality attainable and only high-bias Type 2 tapes without Dolby encoding are used. This will insure compatibility with most playback systems. You may request Dolby encoding and/or normal-bias tapes if this is your preference.
These tapes are not mass produced but are duplicated in real-time with equalization and signal processing as required.
Minimal artwork if any, but complete documentation of selections and personnel will accompany every cassette. This is largely a labor of love for this music and a desire to keep the music alive and available when it would otherwise not be attainable.
These performances are specially selected for their content and interesting personnel which in many cases are not available on commercial recordings. Young "lions" and old "veterans" juxtaposed in ambient settings charged with the energy of live audiences.
Enjoy, Edward
Ed Graham has traveled the world as a drummer with many jazz artists. He has painstakingly recorded several versions of these groups. Here is a listing of currently available titles. These are realtime cassette duplications
