David Henry, Webmaster, was born and raised in London, England, where he also took a Master's degree in Nuclear Physics at London University in 1954.  Emigrating in 1957 to Hamilton, Ont. he worked on his first computer at Canadian Westinghouse.  Drawn to the USA, he joined IBM at their Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York in 1959 and subsequently worked as a programmer and system analyst on many large scale computer networks. These projects also required extended periods based in France and the UK.  He retired in 1990 from his last assignment in Tampa, FL.  Later he developed a second career as computer instructor in the volunteer SeniorNet program at the University of South Florida.

David is married with two sons and enjoys classical music and visiting France, Italy and the UK.

Roger Preslar is Editor for Culture, Entertainment, Recreation, Seniors, and
Travel.
In 1983, Roger moved to the Tampa area after seven years in Germany
and England working for the Air Force as a human resources manager. He helped establish  the US Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base and retired in 1995
after 30 years of civilian service with the Department of Defense. His volunteer activities include coaching for SeniorNet at the University of South Florida and conducting the scholarship program for Tampa Bay Mensa.

Shirley ("Eagle-eyes") Miller is copy editor for David's Links.
She grew up in New Jersey and New York. After marriage in 1947 she and her late husband raised four daughters. Her “word” career started with the advent of WWII, when she worked for the Signal Corps in Fort Monmouth proofreading, and later editing, radio and radar manuals and lesson books. From the early fifties to the eighties she proofread Webster’s New World dictionaries, working from home, before computers took over that job. Then she switched to editing nonfiction—textbooks, psychological tests, and the like. She earned her B.A. (from the University of Pittsburgh) in the mid-sixties. Eighteen years of snow in hilly Pittsburgh was the incentive thirty years ago to move to Tampa.
As a volunteer coaching SeniorNet computer classes at the University of South Florida for the past seven years, Shirley also enjoys reading, writing, sewing, crossword puzzles, and traveling to visit family.
