My husband and I have been married for 19 years.
We struggled through 12 years of infertility.
Following years of infertility treatment we tried
to domestically adopt two boys, 5 and 7 year old
siblings. We became very attached to the boys
and they were very attached to us. In the end,
the person having custody of the boys did not
follow through with signing the adoption papers.
This was a very painful experience for us, and for
the boys. The memories of them will always be
etched on our hearts.
Through years of bitterness and anger, somehow
God reached in and touched my callous heart.
He gave me an overwhelming desire to find my
daughter in China. The process of fulfilling this
desire brought about a great healing. We started
paperwork in September of 2003 and had our
daughter in our arms in August of 2004. I cannot
describe the blessing that she has been in our lives.
In May of 2005 we started paperwork once again for
our return trip to China to adopt our second daughter.
Like many others, I love taking
pictures of my child
and I vowed to have her photos where she could
look at them as often as she liked, not piled in a box
somewhere collecting dust or imprisoned on a hard
drive.
I would like to encourage you to do the same.
I hope you can be inspired by the videos on this website.
