Captain David
L. Glunt is one of the Navy's most distinguished aviators. A native of
Charleroi, Pa., he was an All-Monongahela Valley Guard as well as a member
of the USNA Varsity 150 pound Football Team that was the Eastern Champion
in 1953. Dave won four Distinguished Flying Crosses in Southeast Asia. He also
served as a Test Pilot at Patuxent River Naval Test Center. He later commanded
USS Ponce (LPD-15),
USS Guadalcanal (LPH-7),
and Attack Squadron 93.

John S. McCain
III spent 5 1/2 years as a POW. He is the son and
grandson of the only Father/Son 4-Star Admiral combination in history. Click on the photo

LCDR Wilmer Cook, USN did not return from Viet Nam. He was
classified as Presumed Killed/Body Not Found for 22 Years after being shot down in
December 1967. His family never gave up hope that he might eventually return. His remains
were returned in 1988. Bill has a Frigate named after him. Click on the photo at
