He believed strongly that it was our responsibility and duty to render full and complete support to our troops in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, no matter what the cost. Superb documentary of the battle along with information about the ship!                Web Site of USS Gettysburg (CG 64). This fine ship is equipped with the AEGIS Weapon System

The three battles are Chancellorsville, Vicksburg, and Gettysburg. The first was the masterpiece of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, two of the nation’s greatest soldiers. The second was Ulysses S. Grant’s brilliant strategical victory at Vicksburg. The third was the high-water mark of the Confederacy, and could have ended quite differently had General Jackson not been killed at Chancellorsvillell The battles are very well documented at the ship’s sites. Click on the crests to access. Superb!!!
