LANGAN - Clara A. (Beam) 12/11/97 Age 99 years, December 9, 1997, beloved wife of the late Thomas J. LANGAN; devoted mother of Thomas W. (late Laverna) Langan, Kathleen L. (Robert) WOESNER, Mary Ellen (James) SELMENSBERGER, Madelyn (James) MCNAMARA and the late James J. LANGAN; grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2480 Kensington, where services will be held on Saturday at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, where Clara was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, Ladies of Charity and Senior Citizens Organization. LaRUSCH - LaVerne A. 2/14/95 A Mass of Christian Burial for LaVerne LARUSCH, former owner of LaVerne's Dry Cleaners in Cheektowaga will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church, 157 Cleveland Dr. Cheektowaga. LaRusch, 83, died Tuesday (Feb. 14, 1995) in Millard Fillmore Hospital after a long illness. He attend Bennett and Tech High schools and operated his dry cleaning business from about 1955 to 1973, and then went on to become supervisor of maintenance at Erie Community College's North Campus in Amherst for five years before his retirement in 1978. He was active in coaching for the Catholic Youth Organization at St. Aloysius for 17 years, managing baseball and basketball leagues for boys and girls and receiving the CYO's Medal of Highest Distinction for his efforts. He is survived by his wife, the former Mabel KUALL of Cheektowaga; three daughters, Gloria MEYER of Orlando, Fla, Sharon PRZYBYL of Depew and Kathy KOVALEK of Sacramento, CA; two sons, Norbert of Albuquerque, N.M. and LaVerne E. of Lakeview, NY; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grand children. Internment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

"Bucky" (Nancy) LARUSCH and Kathy (John) KOVALEK; sister of Narletta KAULL and the late John KAULL; also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren. PANTERA, Robert E. Pantera, 76, dental school professor. Died in July 1997.
A Mass of Christian burial was held July 11 in St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church, Cheektowaga, for Robert E. Pantera, 76, a faculty member in the School of Dental Medicine from 1955 until his retirement in 1989. Pantera died July 8 in St. Joseph Hospital, Cheektowaga, after a brief illness.
Pantera was a clinical instructor in the Fixed Prosthodontics Department from 1955 to 1961 and later became an assistant professor and acting chairman of the department.
Pantera, who studied engineering at the University of Michigan, served in the U.S. Army during World War II. On his return from service, he was persuaded by his brothers, one a dentist, the other a dental student, to attend the UB dental school, where he graduated in 1955.
He was a member of the 8th District, Erie County and New York State Dental societies and the American Dental Association.
PUCCI - Ralph M. 10/16/00 October 15, 2000, beloved husband of Beatrice (Edick) PUCCI; dear father of Michael, Thomas, Joseph, Molly (Richard Martin) PUCCI and the late Mary Donna PUCCI; grandfather of Kai and Eli PUCCI, Joseph Michael and Timothy Martin; brother of Molly MAZUCA and the late Anna (Charles) SACOMANNO and Albert PUCCI; brother-in-law of Ann PUCCI; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
