The Marine Corps has been the focal point of my life since I arrived at Parris Island, SC. 57 years ago. I was transformed from a young boy into a man in battle. The Marine Corps League, VFW, PVA, and the DAV and it's members-and their needs have come first to me.
I do this because, In the words of our 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, I believe that "They Shall Not- have died in vain." I'm most grateful for having my three children present, Patricia Osinga, Katherine Hudson from Seminole, FL. and Douglas Dangler from San Antonio, TX. And last but not least, Doris my wife of 52 years. For nothing would have been possible without her love and support....
For all of my life, I've been Proud, and most of all, That I am a Marine!!!!
Special " Thanks" and a" Well Done" to Gunnery Sergeant (USMC) Cynthia Atwood, for reading this on my behalf, and for her special efforts in finding me, to make this day possible. One of the Greatest Days of My Life!!!!!!
