Victoria,
B.C.

While in Seattle, my Mom and I took a cruise to Victoria, BC. We
were on the water for about an hour. On the way over, I saw my
first Orca whale. We also saw fishermen bringing in loads of
Salmon. It was an enjoyable time. However, the entire trip only
lasted for 4 hours, not leaving much time to enjoy the sites of
Victoria.

Victoria has quite a waterfront community.
All along the harbor, sidewalk vendors have
various tourist items for sale, there are
musicians, and many colorful characters. In the
distance you can see the double decker buses
lined up along the sidewalk. |

Some street scenes. Notice the
colorful flowers hanging from the lamp posts
everywhere you look. See the mountains in the
distance. This street view reminded me of
Asheville, NC minus the water. |
